Sixth Grade Update

These last few weeks have really flown by, it is hard to believe we are almost in the middle of September.  There have been lots of exciting things happening in our classroom.  Critters have introduced to Eco-columns for Science.  They have required lots of responsibilities taking care of them.
In Math, we have been working hard on our rounding and estimating skills.  We have discovered we really need to know our basic math facts.   So practice them at home, we will be practicing them at school and improving our fluency with them.
Congratulations goes out to all the Student Council Officers and Representatives that were elected.  They did a wonderful job delivering their speeches.  Be on the look out for Student Council will be doing for our school and community.
